WHERE IS THE CALENDAR SCHEDULE?
WILL THERE BE A RECITAL?
We will have individual recitals for each class. All parents and extended family will be invited to sit in on a special class. This recital "class" will highlight what the dancers have learned throughout the year. By doing recitals this way it will allow you see a broader range of what your dancer has learned over the year. We have chosen this format as we believe that you have invested your time and money into these classes and deserve to see all the progress your dancer has made while in a more intimate setting. When you have a large production it does not allow enough time for you to see anything more than snippets of the year, and to top it off you may be seated far away from your dancer and not be able to see them in action. Large recitals do have their place and we may do some in the future. But for now we want to take the smaller approach and make it a special time for your dancer to shine.
DO WE HAVE TO BELIEVE IN GOD TO ATTEND?
No, you do not have to be a Christian or believe in God to take lessons at RDS. We will require dancers to participate in the bible lesson and scripture memorization, so be aware that the influence of God in the studio is prevalent.
